Jessie starred for a moment at her partner who was leaning more and more over the edge of the balloon’s basket. He had that worried expression she didn’t like on his face again. She sighed, truly annoyed, and took a step closer to him.
“Alright James, you’ve been looking depressed since this morning now what is troubling you so much?”
James looked at her for a moment then back down at the ground. Meowth was too busy watching for Pikachu with his binoculars to even bother listening to the conversation.
“It’s just… I’m a bit worried for Mime Jr. and Carnivine… I hope they’ll be okay…”
They had effectively sent all of their Sinnoh Pokemons in the Team Rocket Headquarter in Kanto, not by choice but on an order of Giovanni, for travelling with pokemons not native of Unys would look suspicious. Or at least in his opinion it was. Jessie rolled her eyes.
“If it’s just that…”
“W-What do you mean ‘just that’?! Aren’t you worried for Seviper, Wobbuffet and Yanmega too?”
‘”No. James, you do know they’re at the Team Rocket headquarters, right? It’s not like anyone is going to hurt them.”
“Y-Yes but-“
‘’Twerps spotted!” Meowth informed as he put his binoculars back down.
“No ‘but’, James! Just get over it! We have a Pikachu to steal!”
James’ head dropped as he sighed. ‘Jessie’s probably right’ he thought…
‘Or at least I hope so…’

+Meanwhile, in the Team Rocket Headquarter+

The heavy iron door opened slowly. Heriko stepped inside, followed by Noya who was pushing a food trolley with a cloth over it. The first one was a 21 years old man with fire red hair, green eyes, wearing the usual white Team Rocket outfit. The second was a young 17 years old girl with long green bangs, icy eyes and the female black version of her colleague’s uniform. Heriko gave a circular look to the hallway. Well in fact it looked more like a prison hallway: three level cages could be seen all the way to the other side of the corridor, each one containing a pokemon –two, if they were of a small size. Recent scientist reports had proved that pokemons kept for too long in their pokeballs ended with a very bad health. So now Team Rocket kept their pokemons in cages.
How nice of them.
Heriko pulled the cloth off, revealing several bowls of water and pokemon food. Almost immediately paws, beaks, muzzles and hands tried to pass between the metal bars, searching for the oh-so-desired supplies. The cages had special protections to make sure pokemons couldn’t use moves such as ice beam or flamethrower from inside them to hurt the Rocket members. However it still allowed the poor creature to try and reach outside their cells –often without much success. Heriko and Noya began distributing the only meal of the day, opening cages, negligently shoving the bowls of water and food inside before slamming the doors shut. Of course, the bowls were emptied straight off by cruelly starved pokemons.
“Careful with that one, he tries to bite whoever opens his cells.’’ Noya warned as she saw Heriko lean down in front of a cage. The man just shrugged.
“’Punk better not try with me or he’s gonna get in big trouble.”
Heriko got on his knees to take a closer look at the said punk. It was a grass type, judging by its green colors. It looked like a venus fly-trap with googly-like eyes, leaf arms and roots as ‘legs’. The pokemon starred straight back at him, in its own way of telling him ‘don’t approach me’. Heriko ignored the warning it was giving him and opened the door of the cage. That’s the moment Carnivine chose to launch himself forwards, his strong jaws closing on the Rocket members forearm. The man yelled in both pain and surprise. He swung his arm and the back of Carnivine’s head violently hit the hinges of the cage door. The grass type let out a strange sound and let go of Heriko’s arm, falling halfway stunned on the floor.
“Fucker!”The Team Rocket member spat. He slammed the door shut and the noise it made brought Carnivine back to an approximate state of consciousness.
“I told you.” Noya chanted.
Heriko looked down at the pokemon –still holding the bowl of food he was supposed t give it- who glared up at him, dizzy but still willing to put up a fight if necessary. A small hiss was heard from the neighboring cage. Seviper could feel this was getting bad. Carnivine indeed was of the playful type –especially when James was around- but if angered he could really get aggressive.
“Seviii…”
He tried to calm down Carnivine but with no success. Heriko didn’t even notice the poison type speaking to the ‘punk’. He had a mischievous plan in mind. An evil plan of revenge. He raised his arm, making sure Carnivine could see it and… negligently dropped the bowl of food on the floor with a maniacal laugh. Noya rolled her eyes and sighed. The grass type starred at the food, saliva dripping from its large mouth as its empty stomach growled. Heriko had dropped it in its reach. He just had to… pass his hand through the bars …and get the food back… Slowly reaching out his leafy fingers… The food was just inches away… Just a little bit more… A tiny bit mor- Heriko’s heel crashed down on the poor pokemon’s hand, cruelly crushing and squashing it. Carnivine screeched and cried in pain, desperately trying to pull back.
“That’s what happens when you try to mess with me!!’’ Heriko yelled.
“Seviper!! Seeee!!”
The snake-like pokemon rattled its heavy tail against the bars of its cage, hissing loudly at the Rocket member.
“Heriko stop that.”Noya grunted.
The red-haired man rolled his eyes and lifted his foot up. Carnivine immediately retreated to the back of his cage, shaking slightly and holding his bruised hand.  Heriko laughed hard at it, the grass-type looking pitiful to him. Seviper on the other hand crawled to the other side of his cage to reassure Carnivine. The Rocket member was about to say something about how stupid a snake comforting a flytrap looked but Noya interrupted him.
“Hey Heriko look at that one! I think it’s… Kinda dead…”
“For real?”
He hurried to where Noya was. ‘Shit, what’re we gonna do with it?’ ‘If the boss sees it we’re dead!’ ‘Just… hide it somewhere!’ ‘O-Okay...’
Noya reached into the cage slowly before pulling out a completely limp… Mime Jr. Seviper and Carnivine looked at him completely horrified. It couldn’t BE, right? The baby pokemon James had always cherished and taken care off couldn’t just… Be dead… Right? Mime Jr. didn’t move the slightest however, his tiny arms falling limply, eyes closed and mouth slightly open.
“Niiivine? Viiiiine?!”
Carnivine desperately tried to call for him but the baby pokemon didn’t move. Seviper stayed silent, watching as the grass-type began to cry softly.
“What’s wrong now, uh? T’was one of your friends?” Heriko asked. A sadistic smile spread his lips and he held out Mime Jr., holding him by just one arm and began dangling him negligently.
“Well look at him! Look at him now, he’s dead! Dead dead dead!”
Carnivine’s tears rolled down faster. Seviper, out of rage, used his Bite move to try and break the bars of his cage apart, without success. Noya started to laugh at the scene with Heriko, infuriating the snake even more. It wasn’t much of a bad thing thought… The pair was too busy laughing to notice the tiniest of smirks appear on the baby pokemon’s face; the white pompom on his hat starting to glow ever so slightly. Without any warning Mime Jr. opened his mouth wide, using Mimic and putting all his strength in his jaws to copy Seviper’s Bite attack. Heriko screamed ever so loudly as two rows of small teeth dug his flesh to the blood. He released Mime Jr. who all the while falling swiftly grabbed the pass card in his pocket. The baby pokemon ran up to Carnivine’s cage but Noya caught him just before he made to the door. The pass card fell out of his tiny hands onto the ground. The green-haired girl however, instead of picking them up, began to sway her arms slowly. So did Heriko. And a few of the pokemons around.
All in synch with Mime Jr. improvised Teeter Dance.
A leafy hand grabbed the pass card lying in its reach and before the two Rockets could do anything Carnivine was out of his cage. Every pokemons in the basement had guessed how to use the pass card after seeing how Noya and Heriko did it  –at the exception maybe of one or two slow species in there such as Slowpokes or Snorlaxes. Anyhow the grass-type opened Seviper’s cage easily as Mime Jr. continued to use Teeter Dance. Well, until Carnivine’s Vine Whips smacked Heriko and Noya’s faces for a sweet revenge. Mime Jr. was released from the girl’s grip and jumped on Seviper’s head. Whilst the grass-type was giving a well-deserved beat up to the two humans the pair began searching for Yanmega and Wobbuffet. Several pokemons looked at them astonished, some begging to be released too. Heriko and Noya were both screaming under rows and rows of Bullet Seeds and Vine Whips. A fluttering sound caught Seviper’s attention and he turned around to see Yanmega, huddled in a corner of her cage, unable to spread her wings properly. Mime Jr. opened the door for her and almost immediately she flew out, glad to spread her wings and be able to fly again. She was so happy Seviper had to call her several times before she stopped flying in circles around them and listened.
“Sevi? Vii?”
The snake asked her if she knew where Wobbuffet was. She nodded, leading him a bit further in the corridor. The psychic-type was sitting in his cage. Just… sitting. Apparently the sounds of the beating-up hadn’t disturbed much.
“Wooo-bbuffet!!”
Well at least he did recognize his teammates. Mime Jr. was yet again the one to open the door and the psychic-type walked out with his usual, dumb expression. He tried to give Seviper a hug but the poison-type backed away, not that keen on affection. Meanwhile, at the other side of the corridor, Heriko had gotten away from Carnivine.
“Ch-Chimchar protect me!!”
“Chaaar!!”
The monkey-like pokemon immediately came out of his pokeball and stood up to face Carnivine.
“Use Flamethrower!”
Chimchar opened his mouth wide and concentrated heat in his mouth, barely giving Carnivine the time to jump on the side and avoid the burst of flames. The panicked grass-type quickly joined ran to his teammates on the other side of the corridor.
“Use Flamewheel!!” Heriko ordered.
Chimchar obeyed, running at the group at full speed, rolling into a ball and covering his whole body with bright flames. Carnivine yelped –most plant-type pokemons had a fear of fire- and hid behind Seviper and Yanmega.
“Chiiiim-“
“Wobbaaah!!”
Wobbuffet had stepped in front of his comrades. His body shined bright red and, just as Chimchar hit him with enough force to normally send him flying, the monkey was sent right back at its trainer. Seviper noted the psychic-type’s Counter was just as powerful as before. Heriko screamed and jumped out of the way. The flaming monkey hit the large control panel next to the door, making it literally explode in flames and electricity sparks. Several beeping sounds could be heard in the following seconds.
And all the cages opened at once.
“Oh… crap…” was all Noya found to say.
A good hundred of pokemons rushed out of their cages in a complete cacophony. The group was split as several panicked pokemons bumped into them. Noya and Heriko –after the man had called back his fainted Chimchar- ran out by the metal door, immediately followed by the angry creatures they had abused. Yanmega was involuntarily pushed towards the door by other flying pokemons. Seviper avoided –by barely a centimeter- being squashed by a furious Snorlax who had just woken up. Carnivine found refuge on the back of a large Torterra and tried to call for the others. Wobbuffet stayed completely still, never mind the pokemons bumping into him. As for Mime Jr., he swiftly avoided the steps of the larger creatures, one by one until he bumped into something soft and furry. An enraged Mightyena turned around, opened its maw full of sharp fangs and grabbed Mime Jr. by his hat. The baby pokemon squirmed and tried to wriggle away in terror. The hyena tossed him into the air and opened its mouth larger, decided to eat fresh meat for once. Luckily for the psychic-type, Mightyena’s jaws snapped nothing but air. Carnivine brought Mime Jr. up to him with Vine Whip and settled the baby pokemon on his head, his other liana safely wrapped around one of the branches of the tree on the Torterra’s back. He called for Seviper, Yanmega and Wobbuffet, worried not to see them in the crowd of pokemons gathering in the corridor.
“Yan yan!!”
Yanmega was trying to fly her way back between the other flying-types pushing her towards the door. Carnivine managed to grab the back of her tail yet again with Vine Whip and pulled her down. She landed on one of the triangular rocks and sighed in relief, thanking the bug catcher for his help. Carnivine looked back at the crowd.

Now it was up to Seviper and Wobbuffet to find their way back.
So here's my newest project: Rocket Pokemon Adventure! ^^

The main characters are Seviper, Wobbuffet, Yanmega, Carnivine and Mime Jr., along with Heriko and Noya (the badies).
After successfully escaping the Team Rocket Headquarters in Kanto, the five pokemons struggle to find their way to Unova, their trainers and escape Heriko and Noya, all at the same time. Along the way they meet old friends, new pokemons, helpfull trainers, poachers and a good lot of other people, some willing to help (Torterra, Nany and Pop-pop, Wailord, Gardenia...) and some plainly evil (Jessibelle, Dusknoir, Glalie, Poacher Mateo...). How will they all make it to Unova? Will they find Jessie and James?
So many questions...
All to be answered in the next chapters! Well that is, if you guys want me to continue :)
